Questions

Common questions.

Is cmdbook free?

Yes. The local command library and core workflow are available on the Free plan. Pro adds advanced workflow features and updates during your selected term.

Does cmdbook replace my terminal?

No. Use your normal terminal for interactive work. cmdbook is for commands and scripts you run often and want to start, stop, and find again easily.

Where is my data stored?

Your command library is stored locally on your computer. You decide when to export or connect external services.

What is the difference between the plans?

Annual is a one-year auto-renewing plan. Triennial is a one-time payment for three years and does not auto-renew.

What happens when my Pro term ends?

Your license remains valid for the last version covered by your term. You can keep using that version; renewing unlocks Pro updates released later.

How many devices can I activate?

Each Pro license covers up to the device limit shown at checkout.
